The Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations of the South Dakota legislature heard updated revenue projections for 2024 earlier this week at the South Dakota State Capitol in Pierre.
Derek Johnson with the Bureau of Finance and Management says their estimate is slightly lower that what legislators considered in March.
Johnson says despite some numbers being lower than estimates there are still positive drivers in the state.
Appropriators also heard updated projections from the Legislative Research Council.
