Timothy Scott White, a resident of Vale, South Dakota, has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a minor, attempted enticement of a minor via the internet, and receipt of child pornography.
White, aged 43, was found guilty of producing child pornography involving his own daughter from January 2020 to December 2021, as well as distributing numerous images of child pornography and receiving thousands of such images and videos.
Following indictment by a federal grand jury in January 2023, White pleaded guilty on November 3, 2023. In addition to his prison term and fines, he will be obligated to register as a sex offender.
The investigation was conducted by various law enforcement agencies including the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the FBI, and the Butte County Sheriff’s Office.
