Summit Carbon Solutions has taken steps to address concerns raised by the North Dakota Public Service Commission after its pipeline permit application was denied in August.
The company submitted a petition for reconsideration, outlining modifications to the project’s plans.
Notable changes include rerouting around Bismarck to accommodate the city’s growth, avoiding ecologically sensitive areas, and collaborating with the State Historic Preservation Office to ensure the protection of cultural and historical sites.
Summit Carbon Solutions expressed gratitude for the support of North Dakota landowners and emphasized their commitment to aligning the project with the state’s energy and agricultural sector vision.
They highlighted significant progress in securing pipeline right-of-way and carbon sequestration sites, fostering optimism about the project’s positive impact on North Dakota’s future.
