Zion Lutheran Church in Mitchell has welcomed Vicar Nathan Shelton, his wife Kendra, and their children, Eleanor, Levi and Joshua, to the congregation.
Shelton was officially installed during Sunday’s service and has begun his year of service at Zion.
Church leaders say they are thankful for the opportunity to welcome the Shelton family and are praying for God’s blessings as they begin their time in Mitchell.
Members of the congregation will have the opportunity to hear Shelton preach his first sermon this Sunday as he continues his ministry at Zion Lutheran Church.
The congregation says it looks forward to getting to know the Shelton family and supporting them throughout their time in the community.
