Dakota Wesleyan University Freshmen fight hunger

Dakota Wesleyan University freshmen spent their final day before classes start getting to know the Mitchell community while pitching in to fight hunger.

DWU Campus Ministry Pastor Denise Van Meter says students fanned out across Mitchell Sunday afternoon picking up donations for the Mitchell Food Pantry….

She’s grateful for the community’s help in this annual event…..

The students collected 2,239 pounds of food Sunday and delivered it to the Food Pantry.
