An 18 year old man from Sioux Falls man is charged with two counts of indecent exposure…including a felony.
Kason Shields-O’Connor allegedly exposed himself to a woman and her 13 year old daughter late Saturday afternoon. They were stopped in traffic at 49th and Western at the time.
Police Information Officer Sgt Aaron Benson says the daughter took cell phone pictures of the suspect and his license plates…information that helped police find and arrest him two hours later. “Officers in the Real-Time Information Center were able to track down the vehicle on traffic cameras and license plate reader cameras approximately two hours later and were able to stop the vehicle near 10th Street and Minnesota Avenue,” said Benson.
He says Shields-O’Connor admitted to exposing himself when he was arrested.
