A 44 year old man from Summerset man died Wednesday in a single-motorcycle crash near Black Hawk.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported around 7am, the driver of a 2010 Triumph motorcycle was traveling westbound on Erickson Ranch Road near the Escape Lane intersection. The driver laid the motorcycle down after the curve, left the roadway and became separated from his motorcycle. He sustained fatal injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is leading the crash investigation.
Names of the those involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
