YANKTON, S.D. — DWU Women’s Golf opened its 2026-27 campaign at the Mount Marty Invitational at the Hillcrest & Fox Run Golf Courses down at South Dakota’s southeast border

Allison Meyerink dominated the field through days one and two, posting a 75 (+3) and a 72 (E) to finish just three-over par, putting her in first place overall and as the Mount Marty Invitational Champion to kick off her 2026-27 fall season. Meyerink finished the tournament with six birdies throughout both days of competition. Claire Crawford would finish second for the Tigers in the lineup and 16th overall in the field. In her first collegiate outing, she posted a respectable 167 (+23) with three birdies throughout both days.

Dakotah Larson would begin the tournament shooting an 85 (+13), putting her in the top third of the field, but did not compete in round two due to academic obligations. Tessa Bulson would round out the playing field for the Tigers, posting a best round in the back half of competition at 99 (+27). The Tigers did not post a full lineup and would not tally a final team score, but the competitors paced in the top half of team placement when compared to other squads.
