The South Dakota Department of Public Safety has released the names of those involved in a two-vehicle fatal crash last Saturday afternoon near Cresbard.
70 year old Debra Hobert from Harrold was driving a Ford Edge Titanium SUV southbound on SD 45. At the same time the 16 year old male driver of a Ford F-350 Super Duty pickup truck was traveling westbound as he approached the SD 45 and 155th Street intersection. The Edge collided with the F-350 as the pickup truck entered the intersection.
Hobert was taken to a hospital in Faulkton with life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, 72 year old Gary Neil Hobert, sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the F-350 sustained minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
