Mitchell Police have arrested a 24 year old man in connection with a shooting Sunday that left one person injured. Ransom White Lance is facing one count each of 1st Degree Burglary,1st Degree Robbery and Possession of a controlled substance plus two counts of aggravated assault.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of North Edmunds. During the incident a victim was shot with a firearm and injured.
The South Dakota Highway patrol, SD Game fish and parks, Davison, Aurora, Hanson, and Sanborn County Sheriff’s offices, and the Mitchell Fire Department assisted in the investigation.
