The South Dakota Department of Corrections is reporting the death of an inmate.
66 year old Benny Laible died at the Jameson Prison in Sioux Falls on Tuesday August 25.
At the time of his death Laible was serving a life sentence out of Miner County for second-degree murder. He was convicted of killing his mother in rural Miner County in 1996.
