Welcome to the SHED!

Sheep producers across the state celebrated their first South Dakota State Fair in the brand new Shed complex in Huron.  Department of Ag and Natural Resources Secretary Hunter Roberts says the Shed has been years in the making. “For decades, since the 1950’s, the open-class sheep barn has bee the beloved home for exhibitors, fairgoers and generations of ag families,” said Roberts.

“Today we connect the past, celebrate the present and look forward to the future,” Roberts said.

The SHED was constructed for an estimated eight million dollars with approximately three-million of that through private funding.
