Two Yankton County residents were recently sentenced to prison on felony drug charges. The Yankton County States Attorney’s Office reported 35 year old Tyler Lee, Sr was sentenced to 10 years in state prison for Distribution of Methamphetamine and 15 years in the South Dakota State Penitentiary, with 8 years suspended for Distribution of Methamphetamine, to run consecutive to other distribution sentence with a mandatory minimum of 10 years. Lee Sr. was also ordered to pay $15,000 in fines.
38 year old Sarah Leigh Huber was sentenced to 5 years in the South Dakota Women’s Prison for Unauthorized Possession of Methamphetamine,10 years in the South Dakota Women’s Prison for Distribution of Methamphetamine and 15 years, 5 suspended in the South Dakota Women’s Prison for Distribution of Methamphetamine; all sentences to run concurrently.
Huber was also ordered to pay $7,500 in fines.
The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, the Yankton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Yankton Police Department investigated the case.
