There’s a new problem for the already beleaguered Lake Mitchell. Mayor Bob Everson says Zebra Mussels have now taken up residence….
He says the aquatic pests multiply rapidly and attach themselves to rocks, pipes, water intakes, anything underwater….
Everson is recommending people going in the water near rocks to be careful….
He says they’ll continue to monitor the situation and work with the game, fish and parks department.
