DWU basketball teams earn wins on Friday

Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball grabbed game one of two on their California trip by a score of 64-53 over Antelope Valley. The Tigers dominated the boards 52-28 grabbing a staggering 21 offensive rebounds in the contest. Kallan Herman netted a new career high with 25 points and five made three-point shots. Blaze Lubbers also recorded a new career high in points with 21. Jakob Dobney added 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists with Diang Gatluak scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Koln Oppold had seven rebounds and 11 assists. Dakota Wesleyan men’s basketball, 7-7 on the season, will kick off 2023 with a GPAC match up against the Chargers of Briar Cliff Wednesday night at 7:45 p.m. after the conclusion of the women’s game.
