
SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Great Plains Athletic Conference has released the 2025-26 All-Conference teams for Women’s Basketball.
Dakota Wesleyan’s selections were headlined by the GPAC Defensive Player of the Year, Avery Broughton. The Corsica native led the conference in total blocks, with 66 in total, while posting the second-highest rebounds per game mark with 8.4. She also averages 14.6 points per contest and shoots at a 52.9% clip. Broughton’s Defensive Player of the Year nod also earned her First Team honors.
The other Tiger to be named First Team All-Conference is Emma Yost, who collected her third consecutive top honor by leading the Tigers in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per contest and shooting 50.8% from the field. The former GPAC Freshman of the Year was the team’s leading scorer in the GPAC Championship game against Dordt, posting 20 total points.
Rylee Rosenquist was named Second Team All-Conference following a strong middle stretch of the season, averaging 12.6 points per game, and earned her fourth GPAC All-Conference honor to cap off her career in a Tiger uniform.
Shalayne Nagel and Jaida Young rounded out the DWU honorees on the Honorable Mention team. Nagel found most of her contributions in the paint and on the boards, while Young was the main ball handler for Dakota Wesleyan, helping coordinate plays across the court.
