Mitchell girls golf won the ESD Golf Tournament Tuesday in Watertown with a team score of 316, led by Allison Meyerink’s -4, 68.
As a team, Mitchell was five shots better than second place Aberdeen Central and 17 shots better than third place Watertown.
Meyerink’s 68 was six shots better than Olivia Braun of Aberdeen Central and nine shots better than third place Hadley Hart of Pierre.
Maddie Childs had a top 10 finish for the Kernels, shooting an 80 and finishing in a tie for seventh. Ava Eliason tied for eighth with an 82.
Mitchell heads to Pierre on Tuesday, May 30 for a quadrangular before heading to Watertown for the Class AA State Tournament on Monday, June 5.
