Mitchell Hires Baker Haar as Wrestling Coach

Baker Haar has been hired as the next Head Wrestling Coach for the Mitchell School District.

Coach Haar is a 2009 graduate of Aberdeen Central High School where he was a 4 year varsity starter, a 3 year state qualifier and a 2 time state placer in wrestling.

While at Aberdeen Central he set a school record for most pins in a season and career and finished with a career record of 119-40. He went on to wrestle at Northern State University where he was a 3 year starter and a 3 time Academic All American.

Coach Haar has taught at Mitchell Mitchell School since 2015. During that time he has coached middle school football and wrestling before serving as a high school wrestling assistant for the last 3 years.

Coach Haar replaces Andy Everson who recently resigned after coaching the program for the past 4 seasons. Both personnel items are pending school board approval.
