The second annual Celebration of Modern Ag on the National Mall is underway in Washington, D.C.
John Deere director of precision ag marketing Darren Havens says industry partners are displaying farm equipment and technology to help raise awareness.
“Our ability to help feed a growing population, but do that in sustainable ways. So many of the solutions we’re showing here and we’re trying to highlight is how technology can be an enabler for helping farmers to accomplish the jobs they’re doing, but also doing that in a responsible manner.”
He tells Brownfield this year’s theme is the Future of Food and Farming.
