China business leader tells U.S. ag to hang in there

The head of China’s General Chamber of Commerce – USA Chicago (CGCC) says it’s good that both sides of the U.S.-China trade war are talking.

Pin Ni owns Wanxiang America Corporation, an automotive parts business in Chicago and China, and says it’s encouraging that China is sending an envoy to D.C. and talking about lifting tariffs on U.S. pork, “Pork is one. They’re also talking about preparing the new orders for the soybeans and the other products that China should import from the USA.”

Pin Ni tells Brownfield Ag News the tariffs are painful on

both sides, “We are all trying to do our best to minimize the impact to the

customers and the consumers, actually on both sides.
