CME dairy prices up slightly, GDT index holds steady

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were slightly higher at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Tuesday.  The Global Dairy Trade event index held steady.

At Chicago, August Class Three milk was up $.01 at $14.83.    September was up $.11 to $15.59. October was up $.07 to $16.04.  November was up $.05 at $16.08. The milk futures from December through next July ranged from one to five cents higher.

Dry whey was up $.0025 at $.4375 cents per pound.
