In her book, “No Going Back,” Gov. Kristi Noem claims former AG Jason Ravnsborg was on his phone when he hit and killed Joe Boever, contradicting state investigation findings, according to SDPB.
Ravnsborg’s lawyer disputes this, calling it untrue. Ravnsborg was impeached for the incident, charged with misdemeanors, and pleaded no contest.
The book has faced other accuracy questions, leading to removal of an anecdote about meeting with Kim Jong Un.
