Gregory Landers, 53, has been brought back to South Dakota and is currently in the Pennington County Jail.
He is charged with first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of 30-year-old Acey Morrison, which occurred at Landers’ home on Country Road in Rapid City on August 21, 2022.
Landers was arrested in the parking lot of a Walmart in Decatur, Indiana, on February 14.
He was booked into the Pennington County Jail and made his first appearance in 7th Circuit Court on Thursday.
