43-year-old Erik Wahle of Sioux Falls was arrested for starting a fire in his car and vandalizing two casinos on Sunday evening.
Sioux Falls police responded to a vandalism call at a casino, where Wahle had tipped over six video lottery machines, causing $90,000 in damage.
About 45 minutes later, he entered another casino and tipped over two machines, resulting in $30,000 in damages.
The police received a call about a car fire in the 5500 block of E. 18th Street, discovering Wahle’s burning car with him at the scene.
He was arrested for reckless burning, intentional damage to property at the casinos, and placed on a parole hold.
