A Minnehaha County grand jury has indicted 27-year-old Justin Preuschl, a former teacher at Whittier Middle School, for soliciting a 13-year-old to engage in a prohibited sexual act around January 1, 2024.
Preuschl, who also served as a substitute teacher at Brandon Elementary School, is charged with one count of Soliciting a Minor, a class 4 felony.
If found guilty, he faces up to ten years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.
Preuschl is currently held at the Minnehaha County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond and entered a not-guilty plea on March 22 at the Minnehaha County Courthouse.
