The South Dakota Department of Public Safety has released the names of two people involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Pennington County Monday morning.
18 year old Kristina Yellowhawk from Wall was driving a Chevrolet Impala northbound on Bombing Range Road when the vehicle left the road. She attempted to correct and lost control of the vehicle, sending it into a roll. Yellowhawk sustained fatal injuries. Her 19 year old passenger, identified as Patrick Little Moon, Jr from Pierre, was taken to a Rapid City hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. Neither were wearing seatbelts. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is leading the investigation which is ongoing.
