A 67 year old woman from Sioux Falls died Saturday in a single-vehicle crash near Rochford in the Black Hills.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported around 11am, the 72 year old driver of a Canam Spyder RT was traveling on South Rochford Road near Seven Hills Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The Spyder left the road and rolled. The passenger died from her injuries. The driver was taken to a Rapid City hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Names of the those involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
