
Grant Wilkinson of De Smet led the way as the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association announced its 2025-26 Class B All-State boys basketball teams
Wilkinson, a 6-foot-10 senior center, was named Player of the Year after averaging 24.4 points, 18.8 rebounds and 45 blocked shots.
He anchored a first team that also includes Teelen Kjerstad of Wall (27.9 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 4 apg, 91 steals), Wesley Wittler of Sully Buttes (22.3 ppg, 10.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 81 steals), Brady Schroedermeier of Viborg-Hurley (22.7 ppg, 9.4 rpg, 2.7 apg, 70 steals), Kamden Keszler of Castlewood (19.2 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3.2 apg) and David Walter of Freeman (17.7 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 3 apg).
The second team features Brycen Bruening of Parkston, Colby Flowers of Wessington Springs, MJ Diehm of Lyman, Chance Schoenfeld of Deubrook Area, Brooks Jett of Aberdeen Christian and Ben Weber of Bridgewater-Emery.
Third-team selections include Parker Graff of Wessington Springs, Tate Sorensen of Freeman, Emmet Dinger of Wall, Holden Wollman of Bridgewater-Emery, Jake Austin of Viborg-Hurley and Lucas Peskey of Iroquois-Lake Preston.
Honorable mentions went to Noah Luethmers, Dawsen Volmer, Colt Keiser, Westyn Thorpe, Kassen Keough, Hogan Hlavacek and Caleb Richmond. Several players earned repeat recognition, including Wilkinson and Wittler on the first team and Schroedermeier, Flowers and Weber on the second team.
