Sioux Falls police are on the lookout for a man who stole a 2006 Chevy Impala from Gearey’s Auto Sales after hitting an employee with the car during a test drive.
The incident occurred at the dealership located at 10th and Euclid around 2:45 p.m.
The suspect, described as a black man wearing a brown coat, approached the dealership on foot and asked to test drive the vehicle.
After getting into the car, the suspect intentionally drove at an employee in the parking lot, causing non-life-threatening hip and leg injuries.
The victim, aged 41, was taken to the hospital.
The suspect fled the scene with the stolen vehicle, and both the suspect and the car remain at large.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident.
